tips and watch-outs from families who've been there

- Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and great views.
- Balconies are available in some rooms; other rooms have a sofa that could sleep a child.
- All suites have a door between the bedroom and the living room. Other than the executive suites, they all have an extra bathroom or walk-in closet where you could put a crib.
- The Serene Suite has a full kitchen.
- Ask for one of their in-room tents for kids!
- You'll love seeing your little ones in the tiny kids bathrobes.

- The main pool , located on the 4th floor, has great views of the harbor. Your kids will love watching the boats go by (especially the pirate ship).
- There's a bench in the pool that runs along the perimiter, which your kids will like walking or standing on
- If you have a baby, as them to set up a playpen poolside
- Up one level from the main pool, you'll find some cabanas, a hot tub, and a very shallow pool (great for kids to splash around in, but only a few inches deep).
- You can easily walk to the many shops in Harbor East, and well as other nearby neighborhoods
- Inner Harbor (the aquarium)
- Fells Point (historic area along the water with many shops and restaurants)
- If you're up for a longer walk, Camden Yards and Rash Field Park (with a great playground, skate park, and open space to run) are both about 1.3 miles away.
- In the summer, take the water taxi!
- If you need a rainy-day activity, there's a movie theater across the street.
- Babysitting can be arranged with advanced notice (and there are plenty of date-night spots nearby).

- Maximon is great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and has a good kids menu). Sit outside if the weather is nice.
- Grab a drink at The Bygone for incredible views of the city.
- This hotel is a short walking distance from many food options:
- Kneads Bakery and Ovenbird Bakery - both good breakfast and lunch options
- Italian Disco - a fun, kid-friendly pizza spot
- Loch Bar - seafood and American classics, located by the entrance to the hotel
