- Rooms are spacious and well-designed, but are starting to show their age
- Plenty of space to stash cribs and baby gear, and the hotel will childproof on request
- Housekeeping is incredibly thoughtful: sofa beds are prepped during turndown, wet swimsuits are laid in the sun, and snacks and fruit appear like magic
- Expect sweet touches like baby bathrobes, toys, and surprise stuffed animals
- Oceanview Suites are steps from Punta Bonita Pool and the kids club while Lagoon suites are convenient to restaurants and Casa del Lago Pool - but golf carts and bikes make it easy to get around no matter where you're staying
- 3-, 4-, and 5-bedroom residences are also available—ideal for multi-gen trips or families traveling together
- Some room categories don’t allow children (we’ve excluded those from our listings)

- Seaweed can be an issue at the beach during certain seasons (as with most Riviera Maya properties)

- Book a babysitter one night and dine at La Ceiba, a communal table experience shared with fellow guests and staff. We recommend doing it early in your trip—it’s a great way to meet other families.
- If there’s a beach party during your stay, go! Dining by the ocean with live music is magical. (Note: It sometimes ends with fireworks, so check with staff if your kids are sensitive to loud noises.)
