  • The 4-bedroom ranch houses are spread around the pond and offer plenty of space for families (including 6 king beds and 2 sleeper sofas).

  • There’s no pool, but tons of open space for kids to run and explore.
  • Free on-property activities include hiking, fly fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, axe throwing, and a Junior Rangers program (with parents).
  • Paid options include llama hikes, gold panning, and off-property horseback riding.
  • Yellowstone’s north entrance is just 35 minutes away and gives you access to the animal-rich Lamar Valley — definitely worth a day trip.
  • No babysitting or kids’ club is available, but pet sitting is offered.

  • Sit outside at The Grill — the views are incredible.
  • Food isn’t available before 7am, and room service isn’t 24/7 — plan ahead if you're staying in the lodge.
  • Follow Yer' Nose BBQ (5 minutes away in Emigrant) is a local, kid-friendly favorite.
