- The Chateau and The Grand Lodge are right next to each other and connected via indoor walkways.
- The Chateau was renovated in 2024, The Grand Lodge in 2023.
- The Washington Townhomes are a bit dated, but offer a good amount of space for families (and kitchens) and are right across the street from the lions, tigers, and wolves.
- The resort shuttle can be requested via the Nemacolin app - it's sometimes a bit finicky, but is overall an easy way to get around the large property.
- Falling Rock is age 16+ only.

- Activities are the reason you come to Nemacolin. If you think of an activity, they probably have it - and you'll stay busy in any season.
- The heated outdoor pool and lazy river at The Peak are open year-round, making for a unique winter swimming experience that kids love. There's also a large hot-tub and a huge outdoor tv.
- Some activities need to be pre-booked.
- The arcade is small (only three games).
- In the winter, this is a great place to sample skiing or ice skating for the first time. You can book a ski lesson (the have rental equipment).

- There's only one coffee shop, and the line can get long in the morning.
- PJ's Ice Cream Parlor is a guaranteed hit with kids, offering casual favorites in a fun retro atmosphere.
